Artist’s Statement

Through my artwork, I hope to share the sense of peace and the awe that comes to me in the great wide open (even if the great wide open is my city garden). Vibrant colors express my deep emotional connection to the expansiveness, solitude and understated beauty and seasonal rhythms of the Intermountain West. Digital photography allows me to express the magic inherent in the natural world.
